It’s where emerging professionals stepped outside their comfort zone, debated the future of the industry, and developed the confidence to speak clearly and persuasively about the role of gas in Australia’s energy system.
But perhaps most importantly, GasSpeak built relationships.
Relationships with mentors.
Relationships with peers.
Relationships that have quietly followed many participants throughout their careers.
And now, decades after the first GasSpeak cohort gathered, that shared experience connects hundreds of professionals across the Australian gas sector.
GasSpeak was never meant to be just a three-day program.
It was designed to develop future leaders for the industry — people who can communicate clearly, advocate effectively, and contribute to the national energy conversation.

We are building the GasSpeak Alumni Network to reconnect everyone who has taken part in the program over its long history.
